Juan J. Morales was born in the United States to an Ecuadorian mother and a Puerto Rican father. Friday and the Year that Followed, his first collection of poetry, was published by Bedbug Press. He is the Director of Creative Writing and an Assistant Professor at Colorado State University-Pueblo.
