Fady Joudah’s new translations of Mahmoud Darwish’s lyric epics, If I Were Another, is out from FSG in the fall of 2009. Joudah’s first book, The Earth in the Attic, received the Yale Younger Poets Prize in 2007. He is also the father of a baby boy, Ziyad.
